Severe Weather RatedThe intricate tread pattern balances winter traction and a smooth, quiet ride. The deep lateral and notched circumferential grooves provide excellent evacuation of water and slush from the tread contact patch.
StuddableIncorporates a dense zig-zag sipe pattern that further enhances winter performance while maintaining excellent wet traction. Variable sipe depth maintains element stability while optimizing winter performance.
HIGH TRACTION TREAD DESIGNProvides an optimal combination of design, quantity and placement of stud pin holes to maximize the tire's traction on ice when studded. The stud pin holes are strategically located across the tread contact patch to allow maximum traction..

When it comes winter tires, I always buy these for all of my vehicles and run them year round...great traction in snow and ice as well as on the dry road....no howling like you get from other winter tire brands...I am always confident with these tires that I know they will get me to and from work....and also know that my family is safe when we go out together we will make it to where we are going...the traction of these tires is indescribable....by far for my behalf the best winter tires that you can run with and feel safe driving with them on your vehicle.

I also had these studded. Wow these are awesome, sticky tires. There was a recent ice storm, everyone was sliding off road and could barely move. Not me, away I went. I will always have these tires in the winter. Highly recommend.

My daughter has not driven in PA ice/snow before. Bought two for her lightweight Corolla; best decision I could have made for her and the vehicle. Excellent grip and traction on snowy, wet, and slippery surfaces. Comfortable ride while retaining the feel of the road. No question about using on this and my other vehicles (have installed two Glacier-GripIIs on my Mercury.

I bought four Glacier Grips for 2012 winter driving season. I always put the snow tires back on the week before Thanksgiving. It was a wet winter, and these tires gave me great confidence on wet roads during winter. When we did get some snow, I knew I could get to and from work with ease, for these tires pulled me through four winter storms, with no problems. I will buy these tires again when these need to be replaced.
