About Monteith Tire
Monteith Tire is a locally owned and operated full service automotive business.
Kim Coleman went to work for Ray Monteith, at Monteith Tire, in Warsaw Indiana in 1968. Kim learned how to serve the community from the great leadership Ray Monteith displayed. Kim took those traits and opened Monteith Tire of Goshen (Greene Rd) in 1983 by purchasing the assets of Chrispyn Oil and Tire. With this new store, Kim had a vision of becoming Elkhart County’s finest tire and auto service center. Kim’s vision, along with his philosophy of building relationships with people by serving their tire and auto needs has expanded Monteith Tire.
The first expansion under Kim’s management was in 1986 with the opening of Michiana Tire of Goshen. The rest of the Monteith Tire locations became part of the Monteith family in 1988 with the Elkhart location, 1998 Wakarusa, 1999 Goshen South, and finally in 2008 Middlebury was created. Between those six locations, there are over 60 service bays in Elkhart County to service you!
The dealership is also a founding member of the Best One Tire and Service group with over 250 locations throughout the midwest, Kim has continued his vision to help young people reach the potential to be successful for our future.
